Cobh
Cobh. Know as QueensTown from 1850 until the late 1920s.Cobh is a tourist seaport town on the south coast of Cork. Tourism in the area draws on its association with the RMS Titanic.It was renamed "Queenstown" in 1850 to commemorate a visit by Queen Victoria. This remained the town's name until the late 1920s.The port which the Titanic departed still remains there.
